This memorial website was created in the memory of our loved one Duane Severance, or Brother Duane to most who knew him, born November 18th during a year he would never admit to, and departed to the Lord's company on January 7th 2010. He will be remembered forever. * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * Samuel Duane Severance was born Wednesday February 10, 2010 at 9:35 PM in Austin, Texas. Samuel weighed in at 8lbs 4 oz at a length of 20.5 inches. * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * A TRUST ACCOUNT is being set up for Duane's children. Local firms Freemon, Shapard & Story and Erskine Blackburn have volunteered to provide their services to the family to support their accounting and legal needs. His legacy
A genuine and lasting soul  
Duane was truly a remarkable human being. His passage of time in this life will never be forgotten. His dedication to serve our lord and all mankind unselfishly is a lesson of true love. The day after his home burned to the ground with all of his possessions inside he had to borrow clothes and a bible to minister to the homeless under the bridge in Austin. We will truly miss you brother.
